RESPONSIBLE DATA USE
DATA HANDLING WITH CLEAR BOUNDARIES
Responsible transformation starts with a defined purpose, limited inputs, approved rules, preserved sources, and clear ownership of professional judgment.
Customer Data
Customer data remains customer-owned. Processing permissions and deliverables are governed by the applicable agreement and engagement requirements.
Data Minimization
Only data required for the authorized processing purpose should be provided. Public consultation forms and the self-service application should not be used to submit confidential, regulated, or production datasets.
Accounting / Business Rules
DataMerge may apply customer-approved deterministic accounting or business rules. It does not silently invent professional accounting judgments.
Conditions requiring judgment are preserved and surfaced for review.
Source Preservation
Source populations should remain preserved. Transformations produce separate controlled outputs with lineage, exceptions, and reconciliation information so the result can be reviewed against its source.
AI / Third-Party Data Use
Customer confidential or production data is not submitted to third-party generative AI services unless expressly authorized and covered by appropriate data-protection terms.
Retention / Deletion
Project-specific retention and deletion terms are governed by the applicable agreement and engagement requirements.
